Intro
With a rather stark Full Moon in Aquarius heralding a new reboot of the Covid crisis (beyond the death count starting to rise up again) and a T-Square involving the Sun, Saturn and Uranus reactivating the 2021 Saturn-Uranus square between the 3rd and the 6th of August, you would have all the reasons to feel a little fidgety… further changes and disruptions are on the way.
This New Moon in Leo on August 8th is likely to make those changes more personal now, carrying its share of drama and heavy responsibilities, but more importantly triggering a new cycle of (r)evolution.
There will soon be very little doubt that the Jupiter in Pisces dreamy season (May-July) is over and if we want to carry on growing, we must all get back to work as Jupiter is now back in a Saturnian sign (Aquarius).
Saturn (contraction, restrictions, isolation, distancing) had very closely aspected all the New Moons from Aries (March 2020) to Libra (September 2020), inviting us to review every part of our Personality (6 first signs from Aries to Virgo) in the confine of our homes before we engage again with Others (Libra).
Uranus (awakening, freedom, rebellion, ingenuity, sudden changes) will be involved in all the new moons – starting with this one – up to his home sign of Aquarius in January 2022.
Saturn wanted us to thoroughly review all the parts of our individual personality so that we stop living in automatic mode, are able to make mindful choices, accept the emotional responsibilities they imply, distance ourselves from their previous karmic nature, plant the new seeds of our becoming and commit to the hard work those new foundation would now require.
Spanning from Leo to Aquarius, we will now be challenged to define how our unique selves can better serve the collective by liberating ourselves from a number of karmic relationships and giving us a change to manifest new ones. I will explore those in more details in the Moon-Light section.
The perfect Kite formed by Vesta (our sacred mission), Juno (our partnerships), North Node (our destiny) and Saturn (our responsibilities, commitments and mastery) attest to the defining moment this period will be into shaping our future.
Even though there is truly little doubt that the wheel of events that will bring further chaotic changes into our lives is once again in motion, the month of August will still bring us some potentially delightful moments, depending on how we weather its first rather rocky half.
As the New Moon in Leo is square Uranus, any constraint to our sense of freedom and self-expression might be extremely frustrating and triggering the most unlikely and erratic behaviors; either from us or from others within our close environment. We’ll all be or feel in between a rock and hard place. Whether you are the one ending up being extremely irritated or being upset by rebellious others, peace might be rather hard to find.

This new moon is ALL ABOUT US, manifesting the most noble and optimistic being able to reliably see the sunshine after the coming storm, the most generous individual able to inspire devotion and connectedness within the community, the leader who can claim his or her position by acting with integrity and magnanimity, unafraid that his or her heartfelt purpose and objectives are the right ones, whatever the social conventions may now say.
From this New Moon and up to the end of the year, the present, each and every day little blessings, is all we should truly focus on.
