The lunar eclipse at 16 degrees of Taurus on November 8 will be total over the Pacific Ocean, only visible from North-eastern Asia, New Zealand and Northwest America around 10:30 UTC.
A lunar eclipse is first and foremost a very strong full moon and we can expect this lunation to be quite intense. It brings situations to either a climax or fruition over not just the following month, but events likely to affect our lives up to the next lunar eclipse in April 2023.
In Taurus, we can be sure that it will affect either our relationship, love, work, self-esteem, or finances.
This eclipse comes to activate the Saturn-Uranus square we have been struggling with since the beginning of 2021. The deep and penetrating Scorpio Sun shines a bright light on the Moon and Uranus. This square was urging us to upgrade our traditional ways of doing when it comes to how we love, use natural resources, spend and earn money at the risk of seeing our security and comfort levels deeply shaken. It challenged us to embrace a healthier and more sustainable set of values. For this we were supposed to accept certain responsibilities and to deal with the consequences of past mistakes, work within the system rather than to break away from it.
For some, the hard work will now pay off and with it a great deal of liberation is likely to be experienced.
For others, who might have resisted the urge to change or flown away in open rebellion, unable to deal with the pressure and favouring the enjoyment of their senses to the delayed gratification of rewards, this lunation might be much more upsetting.
Even though we would sincerely want to be the bearer of better news, Taurus and Scorpio are two of the most determined and forceful signs of the Zodiac, and though a lot would not have been built without those two, they also come with a tendency to see life in either black or white with very little shades in between.

The Scorpio Sun here reminds us that nothing lasts forever and that for new life to emerge, we also need to let go of what has become stalled, inert, dead or even toxic. Except that with the Moon being eclipsed by the Earth, we might temporarily completely forget it and fall into all the Taurus trappings.
Whatever the situations, people, ways of doing or possessions we are too attached to for a feeling of security and comfort, those will all soon come under enormous pressure from either our evolving inner values no longer able to cope with the costs those sacrifices represent or from the rapidly degrading external landscape.
The moon highlights our shadows when it comes to using others and resources just as a means to fulfilling our desires or hitting our objectives. The tension we, or some institutions, experience from constantly trying to maintain secret control of those around us will soon come to a brink, but not before we push it to an extreme
The increasing mental unrest and verbal aggressivity that Mars retrograde in Gemini brings will no doubt increase our sensitivity, lower our self-esteem, overall physical and emotional resistance despite our best attempts to maintain a semblance of normalcy, peace and harmony.
The time when we must admit that we were wrong is now rapidly coming, even though this could put our entire life in jeopardy.
The faster, probably the better. We are still being encouraged to speak our truth while we are supported and before we are swept away by a whirlwind of arguments and overstatements motivated by deep fears, feelings of extreme vulnerability and guilt.

Remember that whatever gets triggered around this lunar eclipse whether personal or collective, the period up to November 17 is extremely intense and emotional.
Some might experience a downward spiral triggered by either limitations, oppression or contraction of some sort, increasing their sense of isolation, separation and rejection, activating their victim mentality, resentment and vindictive nature as well as their deep urge to rebel, what would unmistakably lead to strife and discord.
Others may experience an upward spiral facilitated by the support of authority figures, a sound and flexible plan, the hard work and abnegation required by their pledge to cherished relationships as well as an unwavering commitment to keeping things into a greater perspective and the memory and wisdom that comes with remembering that nothing lasts forever and we are all individual expressions of the same energy field.
Some others may simply be engulfed into rapturous and lustful whirlwind of romance and sex, food or drug consumption, the extremes of which will all be hard to control and stop.
We could see the Earth give way to intense shuddering and tremors around the Pacific Ocean.

In fact, we may have little ground for complacency as the New Moon in Sagittarius of Nov 23 might give rise to all sorts of exaggerated behaviours, and communication still very challenging.
