In this section, I spend more time diving into the cosmic tonality of this eclipse and the change it might manifest on your way across the next six months.
On April 30th, the second new moon of this month will be a solar eclipse in the sign of Taurus, hitting the extreme south of Argentina and Chile at 20:30 GMT.
There’s an obvious link between the first new moon in Aries, when we were invited to be clearer on the new projects and new path we wanted to engage on fearlessly this spring, and this second one as very little actually changed and we are still swamped into the gloomy spirit of this rather stressful and pessimistic winter.
With the necessary perspective you will now understand why. But much more than mentally integrate it, very soon feel it, enjoy it, and possibly embody it. Things are really getting in motion… and much faster than you could have ever expected it.
Eclipses have a way to accelerate events but with Uranus in the mix, you might soon wish you were given a little more time to process what is happening to ensure you can make the right choices. Bless the eclipse for being in Taurus, as the more you manage to anchor yourself and intentionally slow down when required, the better your life will be.
Remember that solar eclipses impact from six months up to three years of your life, depending on their strength, where they fall into your chart and whether you are geographically on their path.
This will be a very mild partial eclipse, so we are looking at a six-month timeframe and we doubt that any of you currently visit Ushuaia, Patagonia, or cruise around Antarctica.
However, if you are born in between the below dates, or have one or multiple planets in Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius) in between 5 and 15 degrees, you will be much more sensitive to both its blessings and challenges.

Well before the bigger changes, we will all be given a chance to rekindle with the fire of our passions, personal pursuits and enthusiasm, starting around May 11 and accelerating on May 25, once the intense lunar eclipse is dealt with.
Both Jupiter and then Mars enter the fiery sign of Aries, energy and drive will soon resurface, jolting our lives into movement and granting us the necessary assertiveness to fight for what we truly desire. Luck will then bless those who are courageous enough to initiate projects, take the lead and venture into uncharted territories.
Our mental capabilities will be the first to emerge out of their winter slumber as Mercury, the planet governing our mind, lungs and limbs, enters his home sign: Gemini. This will get our neurons to fire much faster, and decouple both our agility and dexterity, considerably increasing our capacity to learn, understand, move and communicate. Our interest in others and novelty will drastically increase and we might finally gain a more rational look at our lives after months spent on material challenges and emotional turmoil, even if perspective might still be evasive.
With the Mercury retrograde starting on May 10, we will be given a chance to realize that part of our material challenges stands in the way we currently think about them or communicate with others. Whenever you’ll be stopped in your tracks through transport delays or device glitches towards the end of May, this will no doubt be an invitation to stop, ponder on your concrete issues and rethink the way you deal with them. This period will also be an invitation to be more thoughtful with finances and develop a more sustainable way to spend your money.
As the overall mood rapidly lifts and social interactions resume at an unparalleled pace, opportunities may soon line up faster than anyone could have expected it, requiring all to be dead focused on their objectives. We can be braver with our feelings, perhaps voicing our needs and preferences more easily, and more confident in putting forward suggestions for the future. Before this need for personal focus becomes a source of friction and necessary adjustments later, one of the scenarios that soon open could be blessed with unbelievable luck, and no matter what we may choose to do or say, things will just simply turn right.
The period will nonetheless require a well-thought plan, a selfless agenda, an experimental approach, and compassionate and inclusive ways of working to be successful and sustainable. As you gather momentum and start lining up little victories be extremely mindful of sticking to the initial plan if you do not want to end up being criticized and simply rejected towards the end of the summer for being too self-centered. Throughout the period remember where you started from in March, this will prove incredibly useful, especially in September. If you feel the need to, you might want to record what your current mindset and mission statement are so that you can always come back to it and stay the course.
Beyond the obvious work and finance opportunities presented by this solar eclipse, the exact conjunction of Venus and Jupiter in Pisces next to Neptune also forebode a very pleasant and expansive moment akin to a dream time when all will be able to appreciate the company of their friends and loved ones enjoying the simpler or more sophisticated pleasures of life. Life will taste good again and many might limit themselves to simply getting lost in its delights, pushing themselves into excesses, and giving in to all sorts of readily available addictions and escape routes.
And this is where some of the traps of this period will be.
Changes are expected, but it might not exactly be packaged in the way you expected it. Consequently, if you resist the need to experiment, upgrade or innovate, the planet of revolution and unexpected changes might eventually have no other choice but to unleash the dramatic upheaval your life needs.
For those willing to cocreate with this energy, the changes, synchronicities, and opportunities should gradually flow up to the middle of this summer.
Some may, however, decide to see the glass half-filled and still expect others to fill it for them.
Enjoying the good times that May and June will bring, could lead to ignored opportunities, resisting the need to change, and instead deepen their state of codependency as well as both their frustration and the power struggles that those situations always entail. If this is the case, dramatic changes might be fated around July and August so that they can finally get back on a more sustainable track.
As Pluto goes retrograde on the very same day of this eclipse, the external events that had forcefully demanded our transformation by getting us to lose or fight for something we were possibly too intimately attached to are now rescinding up to October, giving us the time to integrate but also demanding that we take full responsibility for our own evolution.
Saturn will form a harmonious aspect with Eris for a good part of this period, giving us all an opportunity to correct some of the social and personal injustices and abuses our system and personality still struggle with, and to purge our processes, culture and institutions from past biases.
One way or another, this period will bring change and excitement. The pace will accelerate, good vibes will be back even if our difficulties, challenges, and responsibilities will remain. Some of that energy and frustration may later ignite but we will keep that for later. After having been tested in the lows of life, the next six months come to test us in the highs.
