In this section, I spend more time diving into the cosmic tonality of rare events such as planets beyond Earth moving into new signs or major yearly aspects and what they might manifest on your way across the period they cover.
On October 30th Mars enters Scorpio up to Dec 13th and will join the Sun, Vesta and later Mercury.
Mars (our desires, drive, energy, passions, combativity) is particularly strong in his own signs Aries and Scorpio.
But where Mars is more outwardly, combative, and fiery in Aries, he is more subtle and stealth in Scorpio, working in the background, deep underwater but able to resurface at any point to defend his turf passionately and sometimes with a revenge.
Walking out of 3 lunations strongly influenced by Mars the energy is already quite strong, but so far in Libra we had to accept quite a lot of compromises and think of others first… as the God of War moves into intense and deep Scorpio territory this might become more difficult…
Mars is connected by a sextile to a Fire Grand Trine so forget about inward…
The energy is likely to get us all out, granting us a lot of passion and enthusiasm for change, work and play, helping us to get a lot done and hopefully finally seeing some of our desires being fulfilled.
So much so that if we are not careful, this can quickly transform into raging impatience and get us to burn out very fast.
Mars in Scorpio will however soon be opposed by Uranus and square the Social planets, so we should get ready for sudden opposition and serious internal conflicts caused by growing environmental tensions if we do not want to get into undue trouble.
This is neither the time to start new projects nor to transition but to finish what has been started.
The fixed T-Square formed by Saturn, Sun and Uranus indicates that our urge to try new things, enjoy exciting activities and unrestricted freedom may soon meet unexpected hostility.
Then we will have no other choice but to deal with the hard reality of our responsibilities. Easier said than done. With so little grounded energy, coping with reality will not exactly be easy. Electricity will very much be in the air and any little hurdle on our path may quickly spark a raging fire if we are not careful.
Our impulsivity will be skin deep, our ability to read situations for what they are will be badly biased. And with all that extra pressure, remaining calm will definitely not be easy, but required.
The only way out is to mindfully channel this energy into patiently dealing with our obligations…
Opportunity to project our wounded ego, anxious minds, restrained energy and extreme frustration on Others will abound.
Whatever the unexpected events or whoever the people you have to deal with over the period, REMEMBER THAT THEY WILL BE HERE TO TEACH YOU SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE DIFFICULTY SEEING. Try and contemplate on that instead of immediately lashing out.
The Full Moon in Scorpio on Nov 4 and the build-up to the Lunar eclipse on Nov. 19 will see this energy peak, so pay extra attention to your behavior around those days.
Between the breakthrough that you had during the October Mercury retrograde and the awakenings to come, we will certainly have plenty to ponder on.
The cardinal T-Square formed by Eris-Pluto and Mercury clearly points to the need to continue to purge our way of thinking from outdated ego-centered pattern, emotional traumas and self-limiting beliefs.
Avoiding to probe below the surface would only lead to more power struggles, situations of abuse and unnecessary losses shaking your very foundations until you finally do so.
IMPATIENCE FOR CHANGE, YES, BUT IF YOU CANNOT FIND IT WITHOUT, WHY WOULDN’T YOU TRY WITHIN?
The path of growth and expansion over this period will definitely be inward.
Accepting the Scorpio invitation to dive deep into the dark spaces of our subconscious for buried truths may well yield the greatest gifts of this period. If you start correcting your mental constructs now this will go a long way into preparing you for what is coming next. Simply know that until emotional healing happens, our minds and intuition are likely to be confused and very often off. The risk to waste our mental energy on what will turn out to be illusions is extremely high.
The potent energy we are about to experience seeks transformation and evolution, death and rebirth.
Whether you invest that energy into deepening your emotional connections, turning the page, creatively expressing yourself or exploring your subconscious, the period will require that part of this energy is harnessed to fulfil your responsibilities if you do not want to deal with dire consequences later.
If you slightly struggle with those, Nov. 10 and a couple of days around this date will be extremely benefic to getting a lot done with a clear mind.
If you have managed to navigate through the first part of the Mars in Scorpio without too much damage, the second part, and especially from Nov. 20 to Dec. 2, promises to be a lot smoother for our relationships and the exciting action and need for change (and a little taboo kink) you were expecting might well be found behind closed doors. Note that Nov. 29 will be incredibly benefic to all the happy couples around and promises absolute delights so if you are still alone, why don’t you use all that hyper sexy energy to find the One?
With a Venus Out of Bounds in Sagittarius, you can be sure that we will all be craving for unconventional new and exciting ways to rekindle the flame of passion, see our bodies attended to, our sexual appetite fulfilled and allow spontaneity and creativity to run free… remember that this hedonistic hunger may well bring us to overindulge and take unnecessary risks on the money front. You have been warned.
With all that passionate and exciting vibe flowing, early December will see us becoming even more daring and possibly overly excited, probably the time to realize it and rein in that extra enthusiasm if you do not want to cross that sensitive line!
One thing is sure, Mars in Scorpio will not be what you expected to be but will be far from boring!
